MOODBOARD

I created my mood board for The New York Times. My piece worked with black and white photographs as well as a yellow hue picture background of Grand Central station. I would create this for a celebratory promo of the company or a history piece on New York since it contains images of well known places around the city. The New York Times is a staple of New York and I felt it should contain images of places New Yorkers would be familiar with as well as people who have visited the city.

Reflection

I would improve my mood board by aligning more evenly the photographs in order for it to look more balanced. I would also play with the tilt of the images to add variation to the overall look. I went with an overall back and white theme with the exception on the background and one photograph. I would like to alternate the photographs that I made back and white and make some color in order to create a balanced pattern between color and black and white photography.
